David Keane. C.Build E FCABE, PGDip.Arch: AEES, Dip.EIA Mgnt(UCD). Accredited Mediator, Certified MII, MEMNI, MIBCI, MIOSH. David is a Chartered Building Engineer, Mediator, and a Registered Building Surveyor with over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry. David owns and manages an award winning multidisciplinary Consultancy firm ‘Watch Tower Designs’ based in Mayo which he set up in 1996 providing engineering, architectural, surveying, project management and dispute resolution consultancy services to private and public sector clients. David also holds a Post Graduate Diploma at Masters level in Architecture in ‘Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies’ from the University of East London and he also holds a Graduate Diploma in ‘Environmental Impact Assessment’ from University College Dublin where he focused on conservation and the impact of conversion and reuse of historic buildings. David has completed many specialist training courses in Safety and Health in Construction and has acted as PSDP (Project Supervisor Design Process) on many projects throughout his career. David also has a particular interest in Dispute Resolution and is a Certified and Accredited Mediator. David holds Chartered Fellowship membership of CABE (Chartered Association of Building Engineers) and currently serves as Secretary to the CABE Committee in Southern Ireland, and was CPD officer from 2013 to 2016 where he organised monthly CPD events for its members. David is a current member of the interviewing panel for the Chartered Association of Building Engineers for the Irish Republic where he interviews potential candidates for membership. David also sits on the Professional Conduct Committee of the SCSI (Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland). These skillsets have enabled David to provide a full comprehensive suite of service to his clients as well as provide additional added value for whatever type of project or issue that may be involved.
